My connection to the Australian bush has always been strong as I spent considerable time in the bush growing up. I'm deliberate about leaving a sense of ambiguity in the work. Likeness of place is only hinted at, because in reality, specific location isn't what I find most interesting or important. It's the feeling of freedom, wonder, mystery & a touch of the unknown that I hope to capture. I invite the viewer to attach their own nostalgia to this place. To ask questions about a sense of ambiguous familiarity.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0617/8678/3937/files/rn-image_picker_lib_temp_72229337-14ee-464e-a9fa-6c33018b9c93.jpg?v=1792557787
